Waiting review of A level marking

Anyone else?

Waiting a review of politics A level paper .

School requested scripts yesterday and think he could have done much better.

But it's a waiting game now, 15 working days.

Needed 3 X A for first uni choice and got A, A and B, mock score was A*

We have had the review mark back and 11 extra marks were added taking his grade to an A and acceptance in to his first choice uni.

Really pleased, but it's still particularly galling that he was robbed of this result on the actual day.

Excellent result.

We are also waiting review of English lit DDs teacher said marking was incredibly harsh - predicted an A, got a C because one paper was marked at a D. Got an A in her coursework. The teacher said the examiners comments indicated they did not really understand the mark scheme.

@SingingGoldfinch can I ask what paper they found the extra marks? Dds teacher said the SPP (English lit B paper 2) was incredibly harsh although tragedy paper 1 was also very tight.

Even more galling as grade boundaries are so high in English for such a subjective subject.
