Have Any Of Your Children Signed Up With Any Babysitting Agencies

My daughter is having a gap year then hoping to study psychology In Education at uni next year.
Just wondering if it is worth her signing up to any babysitting companies as she is finding it difficult to find any babysitting jobs for family and friends.
Are these agencies worth it as I imagine you pay them a fee?
Has anyone had any experience in this field?

Has she tried your local town Facebook page? Ours has a linked job page too. If she puts availability on there I suspect it would get her started then word of mouth kick in.

I used to do some work through Sitters. There wasn't a fee for us, only for customers of the service.
It worked well for me so would say it is worth looking into.

Childcare.co.uk is another good place to try.

I’m a student and I work for Koru Kids. It’s a nannying agency, not babysitting so much. But it works well around studies and all in all it’s a nice job really. And there’s no joining fee. Most families want you to pick their kids up from school a couple of times per week, give them dinner and help with homework etc.

May not be what she’s looking for, just an idea.

Sorry just realised I misread the OP and that she’s on a gap year so she’s probably looking for something more ad hoc.
