My son is graduating from Nottingham Uni soon and I just wondered if anyone could talk me through the graduation ceremony, how long it is ,do you need to be fit , standing around etc.
I feel very anxious about the day as I am not well at the moment and thinking maybe I should let my husband and son go and if he wants he can invite someone else.

’What to expect at your graduation’ - with video. This should help.

I don’t know Nottingham Uni - graduations usually involve a fair bit of walking, endless hours of sitting, and then some standing around. Some places have overflow rooms where people can watch on video - the info above might mention this.
