Very aware some people are still waiting for final offers from the usual suspects of slow offers….but if your DC has made the decision, what have they gone for in the end?

My DS is firming Durham. Astar A A offer
Insuring York. AAA

He had offers from Birmingham and Exeter too, plus rejection from Oxford.l

This is English and History.

@DownWithThisKindOfThing yep - unconditional means once they accept that's where they will go!

Oh, DD has just "pressed the button" to firm Bath
Not sure she is bothering with insurance.

Button pressed here too - Edinburgh firm, Exeter insurance. DD had a wobble over which to firm after Exeter offer holder day, but now happy she stuck to Plan A.

DD about to firm Durham - only waiting to see Bristol this weekend to check whether that’s the right insurance

Firmed Loughborough for Sports Science.Has grades in hand so offer Unconditional. Very relieved as it’s been a long journey to get to this point.

So so blooming pleased!! I remember your DS’s ‘journey’ last year. So delighted he’s achieved what he wanted.

Thank you, everyone was so kind last year when I kept posting about it. He certainly proved that if you want somewhere that badly don’t give up cause it could happen.

He actually spoke to one of the lecturers at the offer holder day and told her some of the journey to get there (it was in relation to him already having the grades) and she said students who have tried like that to get there usually end up doing well.

He’s loving his Gap year as well which is good, it’s been positive all round.
