How to get work experience for Bio-medical stusides

Hello! DD wants to apply for BioMed bachelor studies (in Oxford and other places), work experience is essential for entering, however she cannot find it. Anything she could find online would only accept unprivileged pupils (i.e. not white with both parents without high education or unemployed etc.). Is there other way to get work experience?
Many thanks!

Why do you think she needs work experience - I can't think of any Biomed degree that asks it Confused

There are scientific companies tucked away on industrial estates all
over the place, tell her to google name of town plus words like laboratories, analysis, testing, scientific, technology, healthcare and contact them if they look likely.

My son did a Biomed summer course at Southampton university through the Smallpeice Trust.

If she's over 16 she should get some work experience (insurance means they won't usually take them younger). Tell her to contact all the local pharma/biotech companies. It won't be compulsory but it will show an interest & be something to write about in her personal statement.

Look up relevant university professors who run a lab and email them directly.
