Ds is in 2nd yr very central house belonging to one of the Oxford colleges.
I want to send him a supermarket delivery - he said it’s not allowed?? All deliveries have to go via the college. Does anyone know if he’s right? Have you sent food to your kids in an Oxford Student house?

I think you would send it to the college and they would pick it up from there. They are probably having to attend regular tutorials there. Personally I would just give them the money to organise themselves.

Yes I could, I just wanted to surprise him with some nice food.

Don't mind me. It's just not something my DD would thank me for! She would rather do it herself. I'm pretty sure she's told me that anything posted has to go to College. What I might do is send a couple of small treats not easy to get in supermarkets AND transfer her some money for a shop.

My ds lived in a central house belonging to college and also said all post had to be sent to college and I don't think that they were allowed supermarket deliveries to college. sorry!

DD's centrally located college owned house had a sign on the door stating that all deliveries had to go to the Plodge. They would collect Deliveroo orders by standing outside on the street. No supermarket deliveries were allowed.
