Looking for recommendations for somewhere nice to stay the night in or near Manchester after taking my son back to uni. With parking please!

The Midland is a very nice option if you are up for that. I don’t think there is hotel owned parking but there it s a public car park used by hotel guests just a stone’s throw away.

The Hilton on deans gate is a nice optionr

The Lowry, Radisson Edwardian or the Malmaison are my top three picks for Manc hotels. The Lowry has a car park and is ideally placed to walk to East Z East for an amazing curry!

The Midland or the Kimpton Clocktower (formerly the Palace) are our usual Manc ‘treat’ hotels.
