Offer holder days- Bristol/Glasgow

Hello

Does anyone know whether Bristol or Glasgow do offer holder days? Ds is trying to choose between them- hasn't heard anything about offer holder days though. Thinking of going for a day just mooching around town as better than nothing but if there are going to be offer holder days I'll hang on as it would be expensive to go twice (he's obviously picked two unis at opposite ends of the country and neither anywhere near us 😆)

I don't know about a specific day but I did attend Glasgow Uni myself. It is such a stunning location and beyond brilliant for student life. Highly recommend it, it's also a fantastic university as well. Congratulations to your son on the offer too!

I don’t know about this year but DD was invited to an offer holder day at Bristol last year - last week in April.

Unis are finalising their offer holder days at the moment. My ds has an offer from Bristol, but hasn't yet had an invitation from there to an offer holder thing. Also offer from Exeter, offer holder day now booked. Also offer from Warwick - thye've invited him but booking isn't yet open as arrangements aren't finalised.

There doesn't seem to be anything on Glasgow's website about their 2024 event(s) but there was one in March this year for 2023 entrants.

Offers from Bristol, Exeter and Warwick here too @wjpa. DD has had an invite to an offer holder day from Exeter, but not from the other two as yet. According to their website Bristol are running offer holder days between February and May, but invites will begin to be sent out in January.

@DuvetCovers Similar issue here as DD's two favourites are Edinburgh and Bristol, neither of them exactly what you might call local 🤣. We did go to an open day at Edinburgh and she knows that is her top choice if she gets an offer. Bristol will be either insurance or firm so definitely need to go to the offer day for that one.

I think invites start going out in Jan - looks like DD’s is in February
