Makes for interesting reading to see who has and who has not got gold awards. Conservatoires and specialist institutions do well. Gold across the board includes Oxford Cambridge Warwick York Exeter but also Plymouth, Portsmouth, Keele, Chichester, Derby amongst others.
Durham and Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester do less well although for some it’s a mixed bag.
trying to work out who is ‘pending’ because they have appealed their grading…

Thanks! Nice to see all the unis my DD is considering with Gold, plus the FE college she's at now!

I think TEF is a bit misleading because of the focus on student experience. LSE and UCL are silver due to their poor student experience but graduate outcomes are very strong in both. Students who go there often just go to get a good job after, so aren’t really interested in the student experience.

I suppose it depends on what is meant by student experience. Support being available I think crucial but partying culture less so. I guess depends on the criteria and what particular students want...(a board game club, MUN etc in my sons case!)
