to start them with a quote? I read that it was. This is a very short quote which relates to the subject in quite a clever way.

OP just to add (it may have been said already) that the most important thing is the reflection and what the student learned from the book/course/experience. So don’t waste words describing in detail the book or the course or make it sound impressive. It’s what they got out of it and what changed them or improved their learning.
