My dd got a call from school yesterday. As I understand it, the exam board have got in touch with school and believe that they may have been too harsh with their marking.

Dd has been asked to release her papers for them to be looked at.

Anyone else had this? It was Wjec(Eduquas in England) Religious Studies

That doesn't sound right!

Exam boards don't admit error like this.

More likely the school got worse than expected results and wants to look at all the papers before formal actions.

The paper doesn't need to be 'released to the exam board'. They have it!

Thanks

Yes its been a case of cross wires on my dd part

The school want to review all scripts as results not been as expected and wanted dd permission to request the scripts.

Thought so!

The school might well have put in a couple of scripts where the grade seemed most surprising - if those have come back with substantial changes then it makes sense to look at more.
