Results day UCAS - do you need to do anything? So confused!

DD received had a confirmation email from her Uni last Thursday. Her UCAS page says the course is confirmed.

But there seems to be no further steps? DD's application was for Sept 2024, so there's no accommodation to sort, but we sort of assumed she would need to do something at this point!

Is that really it? She need to do nothing until next year when she applies for finance and accommodation? It just seems very relaxed that the Uni doesn't want to hear from her at all?!

I don't have any specific info but just wanted to say don't worry - the emails DS2 (starting autumn 23) has had are all about stuff that's needed imminently (signing uni contract, student card, IT policy etc). It makes sense they wouldn't send this stuff to students not starting for another year.

Maybe give it a week or so for clearing to have calmed down and then ring the admissions office to check they're not expecting anything from your child?

Students at my place with deferred offers will get an email in a week or so with key dates for them but they don’t actually have to do anything for a good while yet!

Thank you @Bunnyannesummers and @PacificState
It does seem there is nothing to do right now. Feels odd.
DD can rightly said she told me so!
