I don't want to tempt fate- but what will the mums amongst you be wearing to graduation?

@Cliff1975 that is a really lovely dress. I am sure you will look just right.

I am planning on wearing the same dress to DS's graduation that I wore to DD's last September; a classic tea dress from Whistles. Guests were advised that the dress code was smart so I wore it with a fitted navy jacket and smart shoes (taking trainers for the cobbles between college and the Sheldonian). I might opt for a wedge espedrille sandal for DS's Cambridge graduation as it sounds like it will have more of a summer/garden party vibe.

That's a lovely dress @Cliff1975

I'm thinking midi dress, with short sleeves and sandals. I will probably get a waist-length cardigan to go over the top.

If you are planning to go to a restaurant afterwards, book early.

@Cliff1975 Waving from t'other thread. I love that colour. I have a Seasalt dress tucked away for now (always forgiving in larger sizes) but I might take another look once we get there.

Beautiful options all! I had the pleasure of going to DPs DD graduation from
Cambridge in June last year, it was quite warm then so I went for something quite smart summery, flat shoes definitely for comfort, I went for a low heel. Whistles dress with a blazer. Take brollies, we were glad we did! Enjoy, such a special day!

I love that dress @aibutohavethisusername.
I’m glad I found this thread, I’ve got to start looking for my DD’s graduation in the summer.
Any more photos from anyone? I need some inspiration, I don’t usually wear dresses and so am clueless.
