Where’s good for geography please?

are your offspring doing geography somewhere?
do you teach it?

DC did Geog at Nottingham on the advice of his Geog teacher who said it was the best course in the country! All geographers (BA and BSC) do the same compulsory modules in year one which my DC found a bit frustrating (not interested in physical geography) but years 2 & 3 they can specialise. It’s a great Uni and city to be a student in

Bristol doesn't require maths A level but there is a lot of coding and modelling (as PP said great for future job applications) and DC says the ones without maths are finding it hard. That could be the same everywhere of course. You can pick both human and physical modules, and both lead to BSc. Contact hours are high, you get your money's worth (and field trips are paid for but again that is likely the same everywhere).

Aberystwyth University has an excellent Geography and Earth Sciences department. The university is consistently highly rated for student satisfaction, too.
