In this household the Open days have been attended and the UCAS form has been submitted so now it’s a waiting game.

Patience isn’t a virtue I possess so thought I’d start a thread to hear what offers are coming through.

My dc has applied for a mix of RG and non-RG and everything from all AAA grades to ucas tariff from 2 A levels - nothing like hedging the bets. So all welcome not just the elite.

Good luck to all and hope your dc receive the offer they really wanted.

Just waiting for head of 6th form to sign off my DS's personal statement then the UCAS form will go in. Trying very hard to be as laid back about it as he is!

DC1 has an offer already from Newcastle (within 2 weeks of submitting form - Newcastle is apparently very quick), have heard of 2 people who have 5 offers already.

Good luck. Dd submitted a week ago and has 2 offers - 1 is offering a reduced tariff if she firms them.

Hi all,
DD applied before the early deadline, so a few weeks ago now. Been amazed and relieved how quickly offers have come in, 4 out of the 5 have now offered - 3 RG, offers ranging AAA to ABB and 1 non-RG insurance (but still somewhere she would be happy to go) BBC.

She has applied for a mixture of 3 x Biomed and 2 x Biological Science courses.

I'm glad she got the application in early so can now stop thinking about it all for a while. Hopefully there will be some offer-holder days to help her decide her firm and insurance early next year.
