Hello, My child has been invited to an 'offer holder day' and can bring a parent with her. There will be a 'parent talk' separate to the offer holders.
I am going.
What do people wear? Jeans and a jumper? Dress and heels?
Many thanks for your advice!

I went in black trousers and a top during winterand a Seasalt dress in Summer which is what I tend to live in at weekends. I think dh wore chinos. Ds himself wore joggers and a t shirt.

At the open days and applicant visitor days I worked at three different universities over about 8 years, everyone dressed pretty casually. You’ll want shoes you can walk in as rooms for different sessions might be spread out, not to mention if you have tours of the campus, department, accommodation, etc

I'd go for layers. There may be some walking outside from one block to another but, once you're inside, if there are lots of people it might get rather warm.
