Anyone know if Manchester are usually slow(er) (than other universities) in sending out offers/rejections?
My DD sent her UCAS form off in early October and received offers from her other 4 choices within 1-2 weeks.
Still waiting on Manchester though and wondered if anyone has any experience / knowledge?

My son applied 2nd week October and received an invite for an interview last week.

One month is no time at all!

Manchester may well be taking a more cautious / slower approach to offers this year given the significant accommodation issues their current students have experienced.

Ds is at Manchester. He applied probably early November from memory and I remember he received an offer right at the start of the January term.

Regarding the Manchester Accommodation shit show I think part of the problem this year is that they’ve closed Owens Tower which is massive and also they’re refurbing some post grad accommodation which meant they turned half an undergrad hall into postgrad.

Thanks. Will assume it's going to be another couple of months then maybe.
