My son is deliberating on 3 choices for UCAS as one has to go unfortunately…(his firm choices include 2 journalism courses plus an English with comms).

Does anyone have any thoughts on these 3 other options below please:
broadcast with multi media journalism at UEA;
journalism and media at Swansea;
Eng Lit and film at Reading.
Not keen on any to be above ABB.

Also he’s v keen on his first choice Uni and keen to put 2 slightly different journalism courses down as may even firm and insure them if offered - assume this ok?

All these are respected, and respectable, courses @Han23. Just as long as DS is aware that journalism courses rarely lead straight into a job in journalism – for that he is best getting involved in student radio/magazine/website/all of the above. And/or getting work on hobby websites, blogs, podcasts etc. Other useful skills are learning to use SEO, WordPress and other similar packages and InDesign on Macs (which almost all publishing and comms companies use these days).
