MH nurse degree interview- anyone had one lately?

Hi all,

I wasn't sure whether to post this in here or mature students but here we are

I have an interview at the end of the month for a registered mental health nursing degree but it's over MsTeams so I'm wondering if anyone's had the same and how I can best prepare for it?

I'm a mature student and have never had an interview for a university before and with it being over teams in a bit nervous as I'll be lucky to get the bloody camera on .

Just wondering if anyone can share their experiences and what was asked, done etc

Nurse academic here .... I would revise the NMC code (go to the NMC website it has loads of resources!) think about person centred care, maintaining dignity and respect for the person, why working as a team is essential in nursing, what exactly does a MH nurse do? What does being a registered professional mean? What values and attitudes are required ( and do you have them? How can you demonstrate you have them? Could you give examples? ) what experience have you with those living with mental health challenges? Why do you want to be a MH nurse?

Test out using MS Teams with a friend/family first so you are confident with the tech!
