Any other DC not received Student loan yet

DD is in year 4 at uni. She hasn't received her student loan which was due a week or so ago. Just wondering if any other students are in this situation? If so, do they know why? She's can't get through to SFE on phone, which is unusual as they've been great when had queries before.

Yes my DS hadn't received his student loan. Despite going into 5th year he forgot to register so all sorted now. He used the chat facility on SFE website.

Can she log on and check. My daughter's lectures started yesterday but when she logged on it said loan would be paid 3rd Oct, no idea why it's later this year.

I'm wondering if there's a stage DS hasn't yet done? His account says ready to pay or some such and payment date 16 Sep, but he hasn't had it.

This is his first year and he was a late applicant, so they're still assessing my income, but have confirmed the minimum and he'd expected to have it by now. Is there something else he needs to do?

What do you mean by register? I'm wondering if this is what's missing for DS2, but AFAIK he's done everything he's been asked to do.

My DS has to register for each academic year online. They kept sending chaser emails which he chose to ignore until he realised that is why he had not received any loan!

I had my payment later than SFE said it would be. This was because my uni didn't register me (or my whole cohort) as a student for year 2 because they hadn't processed our academic results from last year. If that is the problem, emailing the uni should get them to sort it out quickly.

I've got an update. She eventually got through to Student Finance, after being passed around she was told her university hadn't re-registered her back with them after a year abroad. It's something uni have to do, she's spoken to her tutor who has registered her back on the system. Really strange as she was off last week with covid and lecturers were answering her emails so surely had her registered with them. Her account is still showing 'ready to be paid' and she'll chase up next week if it's still the same.
