Late UCAS entry (FE college not proper university)

Hi everyone,

Back in 2020 I applied for a postgraduate course in late August. I did it direct with the College via filling in late ucas forms.

I postponed due to falling pregnant and Covid but am ready to actually do the course now.

Any admissions staff here know if I'm too late to apply? The course starts on 28th September & I'm a mature student.

It's all architecture related so pretty boring. I've just been made redundant and figured I'd find a new role but actually this extra course will make me more employable and earn more so its all very rushed and a last minute decision!

If I'm too late I'll just have to go back to work so no bother

Thanks :)

Doesn't the course details page say when the deadline is / was?

I doubt it's too late. It depends on the college numbers but you have until November

Well you know architects can read, yeah? So if it was on the website I wouldn't be asking here - would I 😉

Ooo exciting! Thanks for your reply :)

They posted a social media update saying the course still had plenty of spaces but that was early August. Shame they didn't mention the deadline though!

Clearing closes 18 October.

The best approach is to call the admissions team and actually speak to them. They may even ask you to apply direct outside of UCAS.

Yeah definitely get in touch, very likely they will take you if you get in touch asap
