Travel insurance for students

DD travelling abroad next week - due to covid she's not been on her own before as everything got cancelled.
We've just realised she won't be covered by our family travel insurance when she goes on her own - does anyone have any suggestions of good cheap providers (she is healthy)?
Thanks

Are you sure she's not covered?
My policy through my bank covers up to 22 in full time education. They have to be travelling with someone (anyone) over 18.
I checked for DD going with friends and was told she was covered but trips got cancelled due to covid

@Greatauntdymphna Admiral costs about £20 for annual Europe cover. It's not much more for Americas.

I added DD to family cover when she was away. They often do it at a decent price.

Thanks. That's what I've done!

I don't think so from reading through it. She doesn't seem to be covered if not with us. I'll have another read though because she has 3 flights with younger sibling who might well be covered from what you're saying and I didn't think they would be either...

Clear name change fail!

@Greatauntdymphna
These policies are all different though. Ours covers up to age 24 but must be travelling with the account holder. But we were able to vary it. Otherwise there should be student travel policies from standard providers.
