Oxford y1 exams

Just wondering how long it takes to hear how your 1st yr exams went?
DS is pretty cool about them, but he finished his about 3 weeks ago now. (end of week 7 I think).

Hmm, DD’s finished at the end of 9th week, so I’m pretty sure she hasn’t heard anything yet.

Last year DD heard around 3rd week in July.

I asked DD about this and she shrugged and said 'In the summer'.

So I'm guessing it's whenever.

DS thinks sometime in the week of 18 July. Don't know if that's just made up though!

DD also says around 18 July

Just in case anyone is worried about their results, a surprising number have to resit something in September. It's a marathon not a sprint and most freshers have been on a huge learning curve, which continues until their finals.

DS had his ages ago, but the exams/collections were before Easter.

DD got hers this week. All fine - maybe not quite as stellar as she was anticipating from collections results, but nothing to gripe about.
She's still griping, of course.

Prelim results arrived last week - relief all round... nothing stellar but better than anticipated... benefit of low expectations 😀

@FlyingSquid I just saw your reply. Same as others, no resits so all is well. We can go on holiday in September!
