Study abroad insurance - Spain

My daughter is studying in Spain for her year abroad and we’re trying to find good insurance cover. Any ideas? I suggested Endsleigh to her but they’re not doing this kind of policy. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I googled and went on comparison sites and there were plenty of policies. My DD is now (finally) in Japan until August so I need a worldwide policy and there was plenty of choice. We ended up going with Tesco via Compare the Market.

Look at the market comparisons for Backpacker insurance. This is typically for longer periods. It’s recommended for students studying abroad. Also get the new GHIC for state health care when abroad.

Thanks both - that’s really helpful

Hi Aginplease
Yes she went with Tesco’s Backpacker Gold after trying the comparison sites. Good luck!
