Wonder if there are any view on these two unis. Daughter is choosing between them for a Physical Education course. Grades required are very similar.

Visited offer holders day at OB today and dd lover the course and facilities. Accommodation was good and reasonable. She is currently at a football academy for her alevels in a very deprived London borough. She wasn’t sure if she’d be a good fit.

Lincoln is further from home, she’s know students already there and enjoying it. She likes the fact it’s in the middle of the City (really liked this). We have done a general visit and she thought the campus is set out well. She has a virtual offer holders day this coming week, if the course seems interesting then she’s not too sure what to do.

Any opinions…

I don’t know about the courses but Oxford is a much more vibrant city in terms of being a student. There are more of them. It is a city where university students are central to the economy. It’s got far more going on than Lincoln and not that far from London so is popular with London students. I have been to both (and I know Oxford very well): Lincoln is more insular and feels more remote. I doubt employment would be impacted by either choice.
If she plays football, who do the university teams play?? What are the football opportunities?
