Good morning,
DD is very interested in applying to Oxford University for Law. However, I really know very little about the procedure. Can you apply to more than one college, for example?
Any general info and tips, or link to a useful website as a starting point gratefully received!!
(For a bit more context - she is in Year 12, studying the IB, all A's and A* in IGCSE's, lots of extra-curriculars.)

Presumably you've started with the obvious?

And also for the general uni application/timelines

She can choose one college, or make an open application, ie let the university assign a college to her. It's as well not to get too fixated on particular colleges, though.

Her school should signpost her in the right direction if they think she'd be a good candidate

School should be able to help, also the Oxford University website has masses of information for potential applicants. Jesus College have a good series of useful films on YouTube,

You can make an open application, or express a preference for a college (only one!) but those invited for interview are often reallocated.

There's lots of support and info on these boards too, eg current thread for Oxbridge 2022.
