Durham Uni sending way too many emails!

I'm noticing this only because my DC created a new email account for their university applications etc, to which I have access (we were both a bit worried he might miss something important). He has subscribed to updates from the 5 universities he has applied to, and for the most part they have been useful and not execessive - e.g. announcements about open days etc. But Durham Uiniversity stands out as being over the top - we get something every couple of days on average, but sometimes twice a day. Most of it is marketing rather than useful information, and there doesn't seem to be a way to stem the flow without completely unsubscribing from everything.

Has anyone else noticed this?

They did this last year too. Relentlessly marketing, whilst delaying giving offers. Not especially tactful, and quite annoying.

I got nine in one hour from Sheffield. Just sayin'....

DD is in 3rd year there. I don’t remember this. Perhaps they emailed her instead?
