Some of you may recognise me from a few years back!
Basically... DD is currently doing a degree apprenticeship. But not enjoying it. She is a people person and very sociable, but since starting the apprenticeship it has just been from home and looks to be continuing this way indefinitely- there is the option of going into the office but hardly anyone goes in and travel is expensive/far, so the expense and commute does not feel worthwhile to her at the moment. ts DD is stuck in a mental health rut at the moment- she feels forgotten about (sometimes goes days without speaking to people), is just stuck at home and lives for the weekends. Feels depressed. She is a bright girl but is sad and confused at the moment. She does have her uni place still. But of course we have probably left it way too late now in terms of accommodation and student finance.
It is a brilliant opportunity she has though- salary, job, degree paid for. Please, I would appreciate advise on how to approach her with all of this. Many thanks.
