Top tip - write 'A star' out in full because A followed by a star comes out as A*.

Or leave gaps?
A A A*

@DahliaMacNamara

Or leave gaps? A A A*
That appears as A, bold A, A star on the tablet app - the rendering of markup isn't always consistent across platforms so I don't know if it appeared as you intended in the browser or mobile versions. People get used to parsing the weird bolding but it's clearer to say '3 A stars' or '2 A stars and an A'. Or you could do 3AStar I suppose.

It appears as I intended on both my mobile and laptop, but it may not be as foolproof as I'd thought! I usually write 3x A* anyway.
