2021 A Level results are looming. I need a handhold please...

DS has had a tough couple of years mentally, and COVID has just been disastrous the icing on the cake. --

He's got to achieve ABB for his chosen course./Uni. Oh God, I hope he gets the results he wants. I feel sick with anxiety. Does anyone else feel the same?

Yup. I should keep away from this section of the board at this stage, really. I'm usually the champion of Putting Things To The Back Of My Mind. Jittery doesn't begin to cover it

Glad it's not just me, Dahlia. I've been looking at the calendar for weeks, willing time to hurry up. But now we're only a week away, my heart is racing already

@OnionsAreToxic I really hope you don't need it but your post reminded me of my friend last year. Her ds needed AAB I think and would possibly have made it - but would have done it by a huge push at the end and last minute revision. And he couldn't do that obviously so ended up with CDE...
The place he got in clearing was normally a BBC offer - he hadn't even looked at it until a few days before (he expressed an interest in a few unis via clearing before the results came out) but on the day despair was very quickly followed by a phone call from the uni offering him a place...
And he's been very very happy there, even with covid and lockdowns etc.
I hope your ds gets what he wants but it's really not the end of the world if he goes through clearing - just a more stressful few hours...
