Has anyone received an offer from Glasgow University yet???

Glasgow seem to be last Scottish uni to send out offers this year and I know they said they would wait till after the UCAS deadline but we thought we might have heard from them by now. Has anyone had an offer yet? Or does anyone know when they might start sending them out?

Don't think my dd has heard yet. Think she's accepting her offer from Strathclyde anyway so it doesn't matter so much

Nephew waiting for Glasgow too. It's his first choice however he's pretty sure he will get an offer. He's keen to sort out accommodation though.

Thanks both - we are not alone then. Yes it's my DS's first choice too and he has met their admission requirements so hoping for an unconditional but the more time goes by the more nerve wracking it becomes and you start to think it wont happen!

DS applied in November and had his offer within a couple of weeks of applying.

It was history and politics. It was his first choice but I think he's a bit less sure about being so far away from home now as we are in the south of England.

My DS also applied in November and heard very quickly. He's still waiting for his no1 choice though from elsewhere.

Interesting. Mine has applied for Physics but later in November - I wonder if they decided to stop sending offers out at that point. Or maybe they just don't want him 🤣 I suppose there's nothing to do but sit and wait. Nail biting!

Mighty is your DC applying as a Scottish resident or English? Scottish students are in a different pool and caps on places apply, offers are likely be sent out on a different schedule that those made to English and International students as each pool will be considered separately.

My dd is a Scottish resident. Maybe different faculties are replying at different times.

My DD is still waiting on Glasgow too. There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of offers looking on TSR, and that’s across the board for all subjects.

Yes my DS is a Scottish resident. I didn't realise they had different pools @celtiethree - thanks for that.

Had to google TSR @middersweekly - not sure I have the energy to dive in there! Anyway as you say lots of people in same boat.
