DS just started as a fresher at Manchester at the weekend. He put down five alternatives for accommodation, 4 of them on the Fallowfields site, but was given the 5th, on the Victoria Park site (which he meant to be his lowest preference choice). He arrived there on Saturday and although the room itself is great, he is finding his hall unnervingly quiet and empty, and feeling hard done by. All his school, etc friends are at Fallowfields, and that's clearly where the vast majority of freshers are. He would like to swap to a Fallowfields hall if he can. It's obviously very late in the day. Does anyone have any experience of whether if this is achievable?
