Packing list for flat living - 1st year

Please can someone point me to a packing list? DS, first year, will be living in a flat with three others. It's just been renovated and is lovely but only has big items such as bed, wardrobe, sofa in it. Hopefully the agent will put the four of them in touch so they can avoid doubling up on items.

Check what type of hob there is - if the flat is recently renovated, it may have an induction hob.

@MarchingFrogs You're absolutely right - it does - thanks - so will need to find suitable pots etc.

Is it being let at a student flat? I ask because student places usually include a desk in rooms and a bookcase or two. Often they don't include an office type chair, and its worth buying a decent one.
You can often pick up a bookcase on freegle or freecycle. Actually a lot of kitchen stuff is often available on free sites at this time of year.
We found that a set of plastic drawers from wilko/BM bargains/the range are really useful. On one place DS stored clothes in his, but it was usually study stuff.
If there aren't many chairs etc , floor cushions/bean bags worth a thought , but again freebie sites and facebook market place worth a look for seating.
The student room website has a student list and I thought this site did as well.
