Could they scrap Clearing offers?

My son got a place through Clearing. Can that now be scrapped if universities go back the drawing board and offer on the CAG grades? His actual grades were the same as the CAG grades. He’s got the offer in writing and it’s gone through in Track. He’s applied for accommodation. RG Uni.

No, they can't withdraw an offer made and accepted.

They now have more spaces as the cap on numbers has been lifted, and more spaces might be freed up by students who have now met the conditions for their first choice and move on.
