Is it too late to apply for student loans?

DD got a plac at university. She didn't sort out her loans on time. She would be eligible for tuition and maintenance loans.

If she applies now past the deadline, what would be the implications.

She might have to wait a bit longer for her maintenance loan that's all. She needs to get on it tomorrow though. It'll probably get sorted before term starts.
