Postgraduate (masters) loan advice

Can anyone with experience of taking out a postgrad loan offer me any advice? I am looking at starting a (very expensive) MSc and have been looking at a postgrad loan, which won't even cover the whole cost.

I would be doing it part time while working full time and wanted to know whether they ask you to pay it back immediately if you are earning over the threshold (which I do) or whether they don't take payments until you are over the threshold AND have completed the course.

You start to repay the April after graduation if you earn above the £25,000 threshold
