How many hours a week do you dedicate to your MA?

I start a full time MA next week in Journalism. Have sorted childcare out, and with evening work as well think I will be able to commit to 20 hours a week. Is this enough or should I reconsider going part-time? DS is 11 months and a terrible sleeper so I am often sleep deprived! Thanks

Where are you doing your MA at?

Did you have a long wait to get onto your journalism course?

I'm about to start my 3rd year of a journalism degree & a MA will be my next step.

Best of Luck! Did you do your dissertation in journalism? If so, I might be looking a bit of advice next semester

Thanks for the replies. I've decided to start off doing the course full time and will change to part time if I'm not coping with the workload. (Especially if it gives me shingles and pluerisy Ruby!! Poor you!). Firefly, I was lucky enough not to have to do a dissertation for my undergraduate degree, so I'm afraid I won;t be much help! I'm doing the course at UWE. It's a new course and I'm not sure how well regarded it is, but the teaching seems to be excellent. I applied about 3 weeks before the start date so not long to wait at all
