i started a course in may to study a part time one year montessori diploma....soon after i started the course i realised it wasnt working training wise....i wasnt getting the right training i needed....so when during the summer holidays i came across a much better course and its part time too for two years and i decided to try and apply for a career developpment loan to get on it and i was approved a loan soo i enrolled and put in my application and everything.....the problem is i didnt contact my current course tutor with regards to leaving until i was approved for the loan and when i did contact my course tutor/head teacher....she is saying that i am still gonna have to pay for the rest of the course regardless because it says so in the terms and conditions.....she wants to see me this tuesday and i dont know if i should go and see her.....for fear of being cornered and harassed .......i didnt sign no contract that stated any terms and conditions as such but i did sign an application form which may count but again ........is there anyone outthere who can talk me thru this....thanku

you have to go and see the tutor to see where you stand - - if the terms and conditions were stated on the form you signed, then you are lioable. but you are not going to know unless you go and see her.

as far as as i remember and this wasnt too long ago...i only signed an application form when i was applying for the course......i agree with what you said...i feel like i should go and see her ....my course tutor/headteacher of the the training college ...she is friendly and all but what i am afraid is being pinnedby her and the principal and arguing my case isnt my best forte....i usually find myself unable to speak and i go thru a lot of high emotions.....so i am afraid i wont be able to stand up for myself. and i need to get my message thru to her....i cant pay the course fees....if i hadnt received the career development loan i would have still dropped out of the course because i dont feel its good value for money........with regards to the terms and conditions....fees are supposed to be paid upfront but under special arrangements fees can be paid in installments....now i have paid in advance for the classes i have attended so far....and the only thing the terms and conditions mention is that any fees paid in advance will not be refunded.....??????
