Open days cancelled. Oxford Brookes and Derby reviews please.

My ds was due to visit oxford Brookes campus next week but in the present climate they’ve understandably cancelled. I’m assuming derby will follow suit. We couldn’t make the previous open days so were relying on these to help make decisions for first and second choice.
My plea to those with children at these unis is to pass on some feedback, either positive or negative. About the uni, the town etc. Anything to help us come to a decision!
He’s had offers from both. (Engineering sector if that matters)

Ob is great. Beautiful city, great nightlife. Ds is doing an arts subject tho. Course demanding and keeps him engaged. Acc omm. quite expensive though . Son has found his wings there from being quite shy and retiring.

We looked at Derby and were impressed with the course( Engineering) as the facilities and workshops were good and the support and teaching hours well up there. Sheff Hallam was way behind in support and contact hours. DS has firmed UEA tho as that seemed to tick his boxes and isn't too near home ( we are Midlands based) and Derby is driveable daily from home.
