What's a midwifery course like?

Anyone done/doing a midwifery degree?

I'd love to apply but need to work out what it'd be like in terms of hours etc to fit around my dcs

My friend did it as a single mum with 3 kids in her 40s but she did have her mum to help out with childcare. Think the hours were varied but one year she had decent summer holidays and reading weeks allowed her some flexibility as it coincided with half term. Go for it!
