MPhysio (Sport + Exercise medicine) Does this sound legit?

DS is thinking along the lines of sport/exercise science and has found this MPhysio in Uni of Bradford which he thinks will be a good compromise. It is accredited and graduates are eligible to apply for chartered membership of physiotherapists, but I am concerned that this is less robust than a straight physio degree. Not sure if my concerns are in any way justified? According to website the same modules are studied but more focus is given to sport related injury.
Any advice appreciated.

It's accredited by the Health & Care Professions Council (HPCP) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), so he would be a fully qualified physiotherapist on graduation, just like if he took a physiotherapy degree anywhere else. While it might be more oriented towards sports & exercise, it still meets all the requirements for professional registration. I don't really understand what you mean by "less robust".

Sorry. HCPC. Not HPCP.
I'm hopeless at typing on tablets.

SirToby I feared because it is the only university that offers this course that it was an attempt to lure students in to a physio degree that would end up being more sport science. I'm pleased that my fears are unfounded, many thanks.
