worried my dd;s mental health, how can i help?

although she has now finished uni, she has had a troubled 3 years,
she talks and laughs outloud, to herself,
she is totally stressed.
the GP suggested therapy,
she had therapy through uni but felt the counsellor didnt take her seriously.
she seems paranoid but i dont know whether this is justifiable.

Eleanor I can appreciate how worried you must be and your GP should be referring your dd for a proper assessment with an appropriate medical specialist. Accompany dd to the GP and explain your observations of her mental health.
