Accommodation for insurance offers

DD is looking at universities for 2020 entry. A couple of her choices guarantee all first years accommodation - including insurance offers - but only if you apply by a deadline which is before A level results day.

So how does it work if you then get the grades for your first choice? Do you have to make accommodation applications to both firm and insurance universities just in case?

Yes . Dd has to apply for accommodation at her insurance by day after results day , but earlier the better. Others has end of July deadline. Not all unis allow those holding insurance offers to apply until place is confirmed.
