Edinburgh Park and Ride

Evening all, can anyone advise?
Going to Edinburgh University open day next week and will be driving on A1 from the south. Which would be the best park and ride to use for direct bus access to the university, and for a (relatively) quick getaway afterwards? Thank you in advance.

There is one out near the airport, tram into city then a 15 minute walk/ bus

If you're coming up the A1, you should go to the park and ride at Sheriffhall roundabout. There are frequent buses into town from there and if its the medical school you are after, they all stop at or near the hospital.
