Imperial Global Summer School

Hello, does anyone know how difficult it is to get a place on these, assuming one sends in one's application before the 20th January?

They are run by Imperial College London and are aimed at pre-university level.

I am particularly thinking about the Medicine and Life Sciences programme, for a French/Italian student in a French international lycée. She has got a solid academic record (predicted around 17-18 in the Sciences Bac) but not very much in the way of relevant work experience.
