Any funding for mature student - nursing?

Hi there,
My partner is considering going back to uni (second degree) to do nursing. We have 2 children and bills to pay of course. Are there student loans to cover fees? How do mature students afford to go into nursing when they have families to pay?

Yes, nursing is one of a very small number of bachelor's degrees for which you can get funding as a second degree.
