Anyone know if Durham (John Snow college) have sent out accommodation allocations yet?

Ds is due to go up on 29th september but hasn't had confirmation of his accommodation yet.

We are expecting room allocations from Castle in the coming week - I think they all run more or less to the same timetable.

Thanks @janinlondon. I have told ds to contact the university but whether he has or not is another matter

Castle allocations came by email last night. Hope Hild Bede are on it too TonTon.

We also have room number, and she is in touch with her new room mate. Hope everyone else has theirs as well.

Hild Bede all sorted . It seems as if there was no choice, and all Freshers get the same type of single room, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities.

DD1 has just finished her first year at Castle and got her accommodation pretty late on, I wouldn't worry about it, and yes it all seems pretty standard single room/shared bathroom. Don't worry though, they all have a fab time and Freshers Week seemed incredibly well organised by Castle so imagine other colleges will be the same!

DD has a shared room with en suite inside the castle - which is exactly what she asked for, so is made up. Room mate seems lovely and they have a lot in common, so the selection process was fairly careful I think.
