Ds says no going by others in his course. He is classed as dependant by criteria, under 21, living at home ect. I cant find anything that explains this properly. Not been living independently for years either to class as independant. He has never been asked about earnings regarding forms. I have heard part time work is okay. What about full time?
He has an offer of a full time job in sept as well as doing his course which is mainly assesment based not in uni eveyday iykwim. He has just sent me links to do my bit on supporting his application for student finance. It stated about dependants who are mainly finacially dependant on me so they automatically list him?
I found this link www.studentfinancewales.co.uk/parents-and-partners/how-does-household-income-affect-an-application which would be the answer i need from student finance england but is for wales.
Does anyone know if he is right that his income would not be counted?

No he wont. He will be assessed on your income only.

Does he realise that he'll be expected to study 40 hours a week? Just because his contact hours are low doesn't mean he'll have time for a full time job Hmm
