Would I need to pay fees if I defer second year?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently halfway through my first year of university. Due to a dramatic change in personal circumstances, I'm planning on completing my second year but deferring my second year, so instead of starting second year in Sept '18 I'll start in Sept '19.

My only concern is finances. If I do decide to defer my second year, would I need to repay tuition fees? I know that I would be liable to I deferred AFTER enrolment, but couldn't see anything about deferring before the year starts.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Many thanks Grin

Sorry for typo - I meant I would be liable IF I deferred after the year started.

No you're fine. No fee liability as long as you tell them before the second year starts.
