Except I have none. Got an unconditional if I can prove I have them but they withdraw the offer otherwise. How do I get ahold of them? Contact exam boards?

Yes contacted the awarding bodies. You will probably have to pay a fee and it can take several weeks.

When I moved to my present trust my educational certificates were 'misplaced' by recruitment. I could only get copies of my science and English certs by contacting the exam board I sat the exam with. As for my maths....I took a resit with an outside education provider who have since closed down so couldn't find who I sat with. I've had to sit many maths exams in the past 3 years because of this (should have a masters in maths by Now!!) My last one at beginning Sept last year as an entry requirement to uni. I don't know if that helps you or not 🤔

Try contacting AQA, they offer a lost certificates service

I lost my degree Blush and contacted the university who say it's quite common.

Costs upwards of £50 for a new one....

If I were in your position, I would call your old school / college and ask what exam board did they use for that qualification in that year.

As loads of the exam boards have changed names I would then go online and find out what the exam board is now called.

Once you know this you can contact the exam board either online or by phone and order your replacement certificates.

As soon as you receive your new certificates, ideally scan them and save them in at least two places or if you don't have a scanner take some good photos of them.

I'm surprised people lose these. I can't imagine accidentally throwing away any of my certificates. I've always (since moving out age 18) had a filing folder, now cabinet, with a "certificates" section though so am maybe more fussy about filing than others as I hate not being able to find things and am inclined to be messy and disorganised unless I file stuff away.

I didn't lose them 2rebecca the recruitment department of my current trust Did, very frustrating.

Incidentally dp left school 25 years ago and has moved house many, many times since then. It's really easy to lose a couple of bits of paper when you move house, no matter how organised you think you are.

2rebecca
It doesn't matter why someone has lost them, that ship has sailed.

This thread is about how to get replacement copies.
